IN BETWEEN LINES AND WALLS
PRASANTA GHOSH
4 Aug - 20 Sep 2025
In Between the Lines and Walls by Prasanta Ghosh explores how language and architecture shape identity, belonging, and social experience. Through installations, drawings, sound, and narrative elements, Prasanta Ghosh examines the invisible forces—spoken and structural—that define who is heard, who is seen, and who is included in contemporary urban life. Language becomes a space of tension: a means of expression, but also a site of exclusion and hierarchy. Architecture, meanwhile, reflects and reinforces social order, access, and control. Ghosh’s practice is rooted in observation and personal storytelling, often positioning himself as a listener, observer, or orator within the work. Each piece invites viewers to engage with layered truths of displacement, power, and the precarious act of existing between lines and walls, both literal and symbolic. This exhibition is not just about cities or sentences—it is about the structures, visible and invisible, that shape who we are.
