The 108 drawings were made over 216 days, a freehand abstraction of the rudraksha bead drawn daily with and a referenced islamic pattern painted as background on other days. The artist wrote down a primary feeling after the end of the work day. These are written on single rice grains – 108 feelings corresponding to 108 drawings. Putting together the whole set revealed a great disparity in the intensity and form of drawing.
